Java Developer – JPMC

JPMC is looking for qualified Java Developers with 4+ to 12+ years of experience, ranging from mid-level through senior level. The ideal candidate will have recent, hands-on experience in Core Java/backend development, strong software engineering fundamentals, and the ability to work effectively in an Agile environment.

Location: Jersey City, NJ Wilmington, DE Columbus, OH – Onsite. Candidates must be local or semi-local to one of the above locations. Candidates residing within 150 miles are acceptable, provided they are ready to relocate.

Required Experience & Technical Skills:

4+ years of recent, hands-on experience in Java/software development.

Proficient in Core Java development skills as well as multiple design techniques.

Working proficiency with the Core Java development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.

Strong hands-on experience with Java backend development.

Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, with the ability to work in at least one of the common Agile frameworks.

Strong understanding of software engineering techniques, including: Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Test Driven Development (TDD), Cloud Development, Application resiliency, Application security.

Working proficiency in a portion of software engineering disciplines.

Understanding of the overall software development lifecycle, including: Business analysis, Development, Testing, Deployment, Maintenance, Continuous improvement.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on experience with Java – Backend Development.

Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to effectively manage tasks and tickets.
