Research Assistant(s) / Junior Research Assistant(s)

Applicants should have (i) a Master's degree or above (for Research Assistant) OR a Bachelor’s degree (for Junior Research Assistant) in Statistics, Public Health, Social Science, or related disciplines; (ii) competency in computer applications such as SPSS, STATA, SAS, R, and/or NVIVO; (iii) good organisational and communication skills; (iv) a good command of both English and Chinese (fluency in Cantonese); (v) strong initiative and team spirit at work; and (vi) the ability to conduct statistical analysis (for quantitative data), or conduct thematic analysis (for qualitative study). Having experience in evidence-based medicine, guideline development or a background in traditional Chinese medicine is preferred.

The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) conducting literature searches and screening, data extraction, and quality assessments; (b) conducting research projects using qualitative and quantitative methodologies; (c) managing and analysing data; (d) preparing project report; and (e) performing other research and administrative duties as assigned.

Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for up to six months commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
