Nurse Supervisor (RN)Position Summary
The Nurse Supervisor provides leadership and direction to nursing staff while ensuring high-quality patient care. This role requires a Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills, compassion, and a commitment to teamwork. The Nurse Supervisor supports staff, oversees clinical operations, and ensures compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Compensation is based on experience, education, certifications, and other organizational factors.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants during assigned shifts
Deliver direct nursing care to patients as needed
Assess patient conditions, collect data, and report significant findings
Ensure care is provided in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act, company policies, and clinical guidelines
Respond appropriately to emergency situations
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environmentQualifications & Requirements
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing (state required)
Minimum 1 year of nursing supervisory experience
CPR certification required
Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations
Reliable transportation
