Our client is an established financial services firm in Hong Kong with an active cash equities trading footprint. They are looking for a strong Core Java developer to join their FIX connectivity team.

The Role & Landscape:

- Gather business requirements, participate in design, enhance, review codes and test the front-office market connectivity engine.

- Architect low-latency Java applications using memory-efficient frameworks like LMAX Disruptor for real-time order processing.

- Work directly with trading desks, external exchange vendors, and internal OMS/EMS engineering teams to standardize message flows.

What We Are Looking For:

- 8+ years of hands-on Java delivery within banking, securities, or capital markets. More junior candidates will be considered for an Associate role.

- Demonstrated understanding of low-latency Java concepts, multithreading, and framework patterns like LMAX Disruptor.

- Familiarity with FIX protocols, market connectivity, or cash equities trade lifecycle concepts.

- Professional fluency in English
