Quality Control Engineer

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Quality Control Engineer to raise the bar on reliability and performance for AWS integrated projects. You will design test strategies, build automated test suites, and validate complex distributed systems at scale. Partnering closely with software, systems, and product teams, you'll embed quality into architecture, deployments, and operations. You'll analyze defects, drive root cause and continuous improvement, create data-driven quality metrics, and help deliver secure, resilient cloud services that delight customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

Define and implement quality strategies for AWS integrated projects and services.

Design, automate, and execute functional, integration, and regression tests for cloud workloads.

Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to embed quality into design and deployment.

Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions.

Develop quality metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor release readiness and service health.

Improve CI/CD pipelines with automated quality gates and test coverage expansion.

Ensure compliance with security, reliability, and performance standards across environments.
