What you will do:
• Correspondence Management: Prepares, edits, proofreads, and finalizes confidential correspondence, memoranda, reports, and documents on various topics, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to standards.
• Office Support: Provides administrative and operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the Office of the General Counsel.
• Legal Research: Performs legal research and assists in the preparation of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
• Project Coordination: Organizes and coordinates project deadlines, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities. May handle special projects.
• Record Maintenance: Maintains office records, files, and databases, organizing information for easy access and retrieval.
• Process Improvement: Helps implement systems to streamline office processes.
• Scheduling Support: Assists in scheduling meetings, conference rooms, travel, meals, and conference calls.
• Meeting Preparation: Prepares and distributes meeting materials.
What we’re looking for:
Certificate from an American Bar Association (ABA) approved paralegal education program preferred or Bachelor’s degree in Journalism or English with 3 years legal experience.
