We are seeking a highly qualified World Languages Content Manager and Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide leadership, content expertise, and project management support for large-scale, statewide World Languages initiatives. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, educational leaders, district staff, and advisory panelists to guide the development and implementation of high-quality, standards-aligned instructional resources and professional learning programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Materials Evaluation & Review: Develop, revise, and maintain instructional materials evaluation rubrics; evaluate resources against state standards; provide recommendations on content quality and usability.

• Advisory Panel Leadership: Design application processes, selection criteria, and review protocols; manage panel recruitment and facilitate comprehensive training sessions.

• Standards & Instructional Guidance: Create and refine instructional focus documents; provide subject matter guidance on standards implementation and instructional shifts.

• Professional Learning & Facilitation: Design and deliver presentations, virtual/in-person workshops, and training resources for district leaders and educators.

• Project Management: Manage project schedules, key deliverables, cross-functional communications, and comprehensive documentation/reporting.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in World Languages, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Linguistics, or a related field (Master’s/Advanced degree preferred).

• Instructional Expertise: Demonstrated background in World Languages curriculum design, assessment development, and standards implementation.

• Resource Development: Proven experience developing instructional evaluation tools, rubrics, guidance documents, and professional learning materials.

• Facilitation & Presentation: Strong background presenting to educational leaders and facilitating committee/advisory workgroups.

• Communication & Organization: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

• Location: Remote

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7.5 hours/day (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST)
