Job Description

Instrumentation Coordinator - Sterile Processing

Schedule

3rd shift - Monday-Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Occasional scheduled holidays.

Assignment Details

Contract details to be discussed upon selection.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of sterile processing experience in a facility similar to the partner facility.

Experience in Trauma Level II required; Level I preferred.

Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST (HSPA/formerly IAHCSMM) required.

Experience with instrument decontamination, assembly across multiple specialties, and sterilization processes.

Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system.

Charting system experience-Epic preferred. Responsibilities

Prepare, sterilize, assemble, track, and deliver instrumentation.

Serve as a clinical liaison between operating rooms and reprocessing locations.

Conduct decontamination, tray and instrument assembly, and sterilization.

Ensure compliance with sterilization testing and monitoring procedures.

Manage scope reprocessing and high-level disinfection.

Oversee sterile storage and instrument tray standardization.

Compliance / Notes

Previous permanent staff or return travelers not eligible for this role. Candidates residing within a specified radius of the care site are not eligible, with limited exceptions for current contractors. Background checks and credentialing requirements must be met.
