Job Description*:

Key Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design:

· Partner with Solution Architects to understand business requirements and platform vision, and assess technical feasibility of proposed approaches on OCC.

· Translate high-level solution designs into detailed technical designs, including component diagrams, integration patterns, data models, and extension strategies.

· Define and document OCC extension approaches (widgets, endpoints, stack modifications, REST API extensions, custom applications) that align with Oracle upgrade-safe development practices.

· Evaluate build vs. configure vs. extend trade-offs and recommend the most maintainable, upgrade-safe path for each requirement.

· Produce technical design artifacts: solution design documents, sequence diagrams, integration specifications, and non-functional requirement (NFR) plans (performance, scalability, security).

Implementation & Delivery:

· Lead or perform hands-on development on OCC across both B2B and B2C storefronts, including custom widgets, endpoints, stack modifications, and REST API integrations.

· Design and implement integrations between OCC and adjacent systems — ERP, OMS, PIM, CPQ, payment gateways, tax engines, search platforms, and CRM.

· Configure and extend B2B-specific capabilities (organizations, approval workflows, punchout, contract pricing, account hierarchies) and B2C capabilities (catalog, promotions, pricing, personalization, checkout).

· Guide and review the work of other developers, ensuring adherence to OCC coding standards, upgrade-safety, and performance best practices.

· Support environment strategy, CI/CD pipeline design, and release management specific to OCC (Admin UI configuration migration, environment promotion, version control).
