Local Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Driver

Job Description

We are seeking experienced CDL-A flatbed drivers for specialized, local operations in Taylor, TX. Drivers must be highly skilled in safely maneuvering and backing loaded spread-axle flatbed trailers.

Responsibilities

Move and spot spread-axle flatbed trailers.

Precisely back trailers into designated locations.

Complete equipment inspections and communicate with yard personnel.

Work safely around construction crews and heavy equipment.

No OTR travel, route deliveries, loading, unloading, or tarping expected.

Minimum Requirements

Current Class A CDL and DOT medical card.

At least 18 months of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past five years, including 12 months within the past three years.

Recent, verifiable flatbed driving experience.

Proven experience backing and maneuvering spread-axle trailers.

Strong safety record, including no preventable DOT accidents within the past three years.

Ability to pass background, MVR, drug, PSP, and FMCSA Clearinghouse screenings.

Ability to provide a complete 10-year employment history.

No current or prior drug violations, positive/refused tests, or SAP/return-to-duty history.
