Non-CDL Driver- Box/Flatbed Truck Experience - $20-$22.50/hr

With pride, we serve the Tri-state area as a one-stop-shop for hardware, lumber, doors, Plywood etc. We are currently seeking a Non-CDL Delivery Driver with a great attitude, positive mindset and customer service first mentality to join our team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Able to unload and load trucks daily. Required to lift & move at least 50 lbs. Work with the warehouse team to confirm all products needed to be delivered are loaded to the truck.

-Always maintain compliance with all DOT rules and regulations. Follow traffic laws and any relevant safety protocols when operating the truck.

-Provide exceptional customer service while making deliveries which includes meeting expected time frames, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the product upon delivery, maintaining a positive attitude and following any special instructions.

-Obtain necessary Proof of Delivery photographs and attach to Eclipse via mobile app. Signature from customer must also be present to confirm delivery of product.

-Report any issues or canceled deliveries to Customer Service or the Operations Manager.

-Keep truck, and associated equipment, clean and in good working order.

-Inspect vehicles for any issues and perform preventative maintenance.

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday through Friday

6:30 AM - 4:30 PM

On-site in New York, NY

Requirements:

Valid Driver license with clean record – CDL license preferred but not required.

Maintain positive, upbeat attitude. Always be willing to assist and answer questions from clients.

Keen attention to detail & effective communication skills.

Produce work with a high degree of accuracy and focus while multi-tasking.

Customer service focused

DOT medical card or ability to get one prior to starting employment
