Job Description

The Pipe Welder will be an essential member of a small crew focused on industrial piping and oilfield projects. This role requires frequent travel to various job sites, demanding physical stamina and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will skillfully handle pipe welding tasks while effectively communicating with team members to ensure high-quality results.

Responsibilities

Perform pipe welding according to project specifications

Read and interpret blueprints for accurate execution

Prepare materials needed for welding operations

Fit up pipe joints ensuring proper alignment and quality

Preferred Qualifications

2+ years experience in pipe welding

Proficiency in Stick Welding (SMAW) and MIG Welding (GMAW)

Experience in metal fabrication

Strong physical stamina for demanding work environments

Attention to detail to ensure weld quality

Effective communication skills within a team setting
