Our client is looking for a well-rounded Legal Practitioner with strong private-practice experience who is able to handle a diverse portfolio of matters.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle civil and general litigation matters, including preparing pleadings, applications, notices and other court documents.
Represent clients in court and manage matters from instruction through to conclusion.
Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients.
Draft, review and interpret contracts, agreements, legal opinions and other legal documentation.
Handle conveyancing and notarial matters, including property transfers and related documentation.
Provide advice and representation on labour and employment law matters.
Advise clients on commercial law matters, including contracts, business transactions and related legal issues.
Handle family law matters and provide appropriate legal guidance to clients.
Manage client files, correspondence, deadlines and court processes effectively.
Use and maintain case records on the Integrated Electronic Case Management System (IECMS).
Liaise with clients, courts, government departments and other relevant stakeholders.
Maintain confidentiality, professional standards and compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage a demanding caseload independently while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality of work.
Travel as required for court appearances, client meetings and other professional duties.
Key Skills:
Must have hands-on experience and be proficient in the Integrated Electronic Case Management System (IECMS).
Strong legal research, drafting, client advisory and court experience.
Ability to work independently, manage a demanding workload and meet deadlines.
Must be comfortable with the travel and flexibility requirements of the position.
Key Qualifications:
Must be a registered Legal Practitioner, Notary Public and Conveyancer, with a minimum of 3 years' post-admission experience in private practice.
Must hold an LLB degree from a recognised university in Zimbabwe, South Africa or the United Kingdom.
Strong all-round practical experience across litigation/civil litigation, conveyancing, labour law, commercial law and family law.
