We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Executive Sous Chef looking to move into a Chef role to join our team at our brewery-based restaurant concept featuring pizza and scratch-made international cuisine. Must be a hands-on leader who takes pride in their work, thrives under pressure, and is committed to delivering an exceptional culinary experience.

This role is second-in-command of the kitchen and is responsible for maintaining high culinary standards, supporting daily operations, and leading the team alongside the General Manager and Corporate Chef.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen operations and service execution

Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff

Create and manage staff schedules

Manage food cost and control waste

Conduct inventory counts and oversee ordering

Ensure consistent execution and quality control of all menu items

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and sanitation standards

Enforce ServeSafe and food safety compliance

Assist with menu development and seasonal features

Maintain efficient ticket times during high-volume service

Communicate effectively with front-of-house and brewery teams

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of kitchen management or sous chef experience

ServeSafe certified (or equivalent)

Strong ability to manage labor, scheduling, and food cost

Experience with inventory systems and ordering

Proficient with computers, POS systems, and kitchen software

Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

Ability to report directly to General Manager and Corporate Chef

Preferred Skills

Strong leadership and team-building abilities

Experience with pizza programs and dough production

Knowledge of international cuisines and scratch cooking

Ability to multitask and perform under pressure

Experience training and developing kitchen staff
