Seasonal Purchasing Technician

Retail & Manufacturing

$24.00 per hour

Monday-Friday, Flexible Start 7:00am-9:00am

Columbus, Ohio – Near Downtown (onsite)

Contract Through January

What You’ll Do:

Monitor inventory levels and flag potential shortages or overstock situations before they become problems

Support demand planning using sales trends, historical data, and current inventory levels

Place, confirm, and track purchase orders with established vendors

Communicate directly with vendors to resolve order discrepancies, delays, and shortages

Track inbound shipments, delivery timelines, and inventory updates in real time

Maintain accurate purchasing records and collaborate with Supply Chain and warehouse teams

What We’re Looking For:

Strong Excel skills and data entry accuracy – you’ll be working with inventory data and purchase order records daily

Excellent organizational and time management skills – you juggle multiple open orders and stay on top of all of them

Clear, professional vendor communication skills – comfortable following up and resolving issues directly

Strong problem-solving skills and follow-through – you don’t let things slip

Supply chain or purchasing experience is a major plus

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred; relevant experience considered
