EHS Coordinator

Job Description

Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Coordinator to support Health, Safety, and Environmental programs at their Three Rivers, MI facility.

**Pay Rate: **$75k - $85k

Shift: 1st Shift

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and support daily Health, Safety, and Environmental activities throughout the facility

Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and programs

Conduct routine safety inspections, workplace audits, and hazard assessments

Identify potential workplace hazards and work with department leaders to implement corrective actions

Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and injuries and assist with root cause analysis

Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, training, corrective actions, and other HSE activities

Coordinate employee safety training, including PPE, Lockout/Tagout, hazard communication, emergency response, and other required topics

Assist with OSHA compliance and regulatory reporting requirements

Support environmental compliance activities, including waste management, chemical handling, and environmental documentation

Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and ensure proper labeling and storage of hazardous materials

Monitor and promote proper use of PPE and adherence to safety procedures

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Safety, or a related field preferred

3+ years of experience in an HSE, EHS, Safety, or Environmental role within a manufacturing or industrial environment

Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and workplace safety requirements

Familiarity with hazard assessments, incident investigation, and corrective action processes
