Harmony Gardens Assisted Living is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, and compassionate Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents. Our housekeeping team plays an important role in enhancing residents' quality of life by ensuring resident apartments and common areas are consistently clean, sanitary, and welcoming.

The Housekeeper is responsible for performing routine cleaning and sanitizing duties throughout the community, including resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other designated spaces. The Housekeeper helps ensure compliance with infection control practices and safety standards while providing excellent customer service to residents and visitors.Essential Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize resident apartments, bathrooms, and common areas.

Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors and surfaces.

Clean windows, mirrors, furniture, and fixtures as assigned.

Empty trash and replace liners.

Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces according to facility procedures.

Maintain housekeeping carts, supplies, and equipment.

Report maintenance, safety, or repair concerns promptly.

Follow infection prevention and control procedures.

Respond courteously to resident requests and concerns.

Assist with apartment turnovers and move-in preparations.

Follow all facility safety policies and procedures.QualificationsRequired

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to perform physical duties throughout the workday.

Ability to pass required background screenings.Preferred

Previous housekeeping experience in assisted living, healthcare, hospitality, or related settings.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and infection control practices.

Experience working with older adults.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Strong attention to detail.

Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Commitment to resident dignity, privacy, and satisfaction.Physical Requirements

Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting.

Ability to push carts and move housekeeping equipment.

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.
