The Institute of Space and Earth Information Science (ISEIS) invites applications for the position of Research Assistant / Junior Research Assistant. The appointee will work under the supervision of Prof. Mei-Po Kwan and provide support to research projects in environmental health.

Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree or above in Geography, Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, Social Sciences, or a related discipline; (ii) excellent proficiency in both spoken and written Cantonese and English; (iii) strong multi-tasking, organisational, and interpersonal skills; (iv) a strong sense of responsibility and self-discipline; and (v) the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

The appointee(s) will be responsible for (a) assisting in participant recruitment and communication; (b) organising and conducting participant briefing sessions and data collection in the community; (c) managing sensing equipment and questionnaires; (d) supporting data entry and analysis; and (e) performing general administrative duties and other tasks as assigned. Working outside normal office hours and during weekends may be required occasionally.
