Optometry Medical Assistant

$18–$20/hour Full-Time Monday–Friday No Weekends

Join Junction Eye Center as a Medical Assistant and work directly with patients and providers in our busy optometry practice. This role, also known as a Patient Care Technician, provides hands-on clinical support and helps ensure each patient visit runs smoothly. Optometry experience is not required - we provide role-specific training for the right candidate.

What You’ll Do:

* Prepare patients for eye exams and assist providers throughout the visit

* Review and document patient medical histories

* Perform clinical measurements and ophthalmic testing as trained

* Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record

* Help maintain smooth, efficient patient flow throughout the clinic

* Provide calm, professional, patient-centered care

* Assist with other clinic or office-related duties as needed to support the team

What We’re Looking For:

* Previous healthcare, medical office, or patient care experience preferred

* Comfortable working directly with patients in a fast-paced environment

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy

* Dependable, organized, and professional

* Comfortable using computers and learning medical documentation systems

* Strong communication and teamwork skills

Optometry experience is a plus but not required. We will train the right candidate who is reliable, eager to learn, and interested in growing with the practice over time.
