Job Summary
We are seeking an Electronic Automation PLC Technician for a direct hire opportunity in a manufacturing environment in Cayey, PR. This role is ideal for a hands-on industrial electronics and automation professional who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, improving system performance, and supporting reliable production operations.
The Electronic Automation PLC Technician will work closely with maintenance, production, and engineering teams to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, control panels, and related electrical equipment. This is a strong opportunity for someone who values teamwork, technical growth, equipment reliability, and contributing to continuous improvement in a stable industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, test, maintain, and troubleshoot electronic equipment and automated systems, including PLCs, HMIs, sensors, and control panels.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, electronic, and automation systems to support production uptime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and control system documentation.
- Program, modify, and debug PLCs and other automation controls to improve equipment performance and reliability.
- Support equipment upgrades, system modifications, new installations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation while following safety standards and procedures.

- Pay range: $22 to $28 per hour.
