UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, NC seeks an Interventional Cardiologist to join our community-based practice of General, Interventional, and EP Cardiologists, Cardiology Fellows, Thoracic & Vascular Surgeons, and APPs.

Clinic Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:00am - 1:00pm

1:4 call

1 cath lab day per week

Inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiovascular care supported by dedicated APPs

Fellow, resident, and medical student teaching available

EPIC EMR

Tests & Diagnosis: Cardiac Imaging, Echocardiogram, Cardiac Catheterization, Cath Lab, Radial Access, PET Scan, Stress Tests (exercise, dobutamine, nuclear and stress echo), EKG, Dedicated EP Lab, Ambulatory Cardiac Monitoring, ABI, Doppler Ultrasound

Heart Treatments: Cardioversion, Pacemaker and ICD Clinic, Angioplasty, Atherectomy, Heart Failure Clinic, Valvuloplasty, Valve Repair and Replacement, Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation

Vascular Treatments: Bypass surgery for PAD, Endovascular therapy for PAD, Carotid Endarterectomy, EVAR, Vein Clinic

CVICU and dedicated Cardiology Progressive Care Unit

REQUIREMENTS

Licensed DO/MD in NC or eligible

Fellowship trained in Interventional Cardiology

BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology

Must meet criteria for medical staff credentials at UNC Health Southeastern
