Registered Nurse - Night Shift Cardiac Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift from 19:00 to 07:30 with weekend coverage every other weekend.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our cardiac telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide care for inpatient adults dealing with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. You will be responsible for managing patients with cardiovascular issues including, but not limited to, sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease.

Responsibilities:

Administer vasoactive drugs and antiarrhythmic therapies.

Provide thrombolytic therapy and perform defibrillation/cardioversion.

Conduct thoracentesis and monitor cardiac telemetry.

Perform EKGs and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring.

Ensure comprehensive documentation of patient care in the electronic medical record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Current RN license in South Carolina.

ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification required.

Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience required.

Two years of nursing experience preferred.

Previous charge experience is a plus.
