Position: CAM Programming Expert (Fusion 360)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $120–$175/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
Author detailed 10-criterion rubrics for grading Fusion 360 CAM programs across various CAD models and machining contexts.
Write clear verification rationale for each criterion to ensure objective and verifiable outcomes.
Review sample CAM solutions and explain pass/fail outcomes based on expert machinist standards.
Evaluate existing CAM programs to determine approval or rejection for production runs.
Provide structured reasoning behind each criterion to enhance the quality of evaluation datasets.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Hands-on Fusion 360 CAM experience, with access to a Fusion 360 license.
Ability to program 4- and/or 5-axis CNC toolpaths.
5+ years of CAM programming experience.
Strong production judgment to assess real machine safety.
Written English fluency for text-based deliverables.
Preferred
CAM instructor or teaching experience.
