About the Position

Our client is seeking a reliable CDL A Driver for a short-term flex shuttle assignment based in Columbus, Ohio. This home-daily opportunity includes a Columbus-to-Pittsburgh round-trip route, no-touch laundry freight, and drop-and-hook operations.

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $27.50 per hour

Schedule: Start time at 4:00 p.m.

Average 8–10 hours per day

40 hours per week

Short-term flex coverage: August 31–September 2, 2026

Job Details

Route type: Columbus to Pittsburgh and back

Freight: Laundry freight

Freight handling: No-touch freight

Trailer operations: Drop and hook

Equipment: Automatic transmission truck with a forward-facing camera

Work setting: On-site

Key Responsibilities

Safely operate a CDL A vehicle on the Columbus-to-Pittsburgh round-trip route.

Transport laundry freight while following all applicable safety and transportation regulations.

Complete drop-and-hook trailer operations.

Perform assigned duties professionally and maintain reliable attendance throughout the flex assignment.

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

3 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.

Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.

Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.

Must be at least 21 years old.
