n TLC Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Columbus, Ohio.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: ASAP\n Duration: 17 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, nights\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n **Title:** Critical Care Float Pool RN - Night Shift\n **Schedule:** \n - Shift: Nights (3x12)\n - Weekend coverage: Required (minimum every other weekend)\n **Assignment Details n - Contract requirement: All contracts must extend through January 2, 2027\n - Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week\n **Requirements n - Minimum 2 years of ICU experience\n - Ventilator management, telemetry, and IV start experience required\n - BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n - Proficiency in EPIC charting system required\n - Clinical proficiencies: IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management\n - Key clinical skills: arterial/central line management, ABG interpretation, titration of vasoactive/cardiac drips, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration\n **Roles & Responsibilities n - Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in a critical care setting\n - Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions\n - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to plan and implement patient care\n - Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring safety and effectiveness\n - Document patient care activities accurately in the electronic health record\n About TLC Nursing\n \n TLC Nursing has been working with the best of the best nursing and allied travelers for over 18 years.
