Job Description

The Construction Carpenter plays a vital role in residential building projects, working primarily with small crews to deliver precise and safe carpentry work. This role involves frequent travel to various job sites and requires expertise in both manual and power tool operation to frame, measure, cut, and install construction components effectively.

Responsibilities

Frame structures according to specifications on residential projects

Measure and cut materials accurately for installation

Install wood, hardy siding, and other materials efficiently

Handle and manage construction materials safely

Operate a variety of manual and power tools proficiently

Maintain compliance with all job site safety protocols

Collaborate effectively with small work crews on-site

Travel frequently between job sites as required

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum 2 years’ experience in carpentry

Valid driver’s license for traveling to job sites

Expertise in framing techniques and use of power tools

Strong commitment to safety compliance

Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks

Attention to detail and effective problem solving

Ability to work well in team environments

Time management skills to meet project deadlines
