Senior Paralegal - Litigation - for highly respected global law firm in Washington, DC.

This position is the lead paralegal on large, complex cases and will provide instruction and informal mentorship to junior paralegals at the Firm.

Ideal candidate is a career-track litigation paralegal with significant litigation experience.Responsibilities include: litigation case management, file management, case calendaring, discovery, and trial activities; coordinate/oversee tasks of junior paralegals on large litigation matters and/or investigations in all phases of litigation from discovery through trial/arbitration; liaise between case team attorneys and support staff to ensure case-specific paralegal services are meeting expectations; coordinate with outside entities (e.g. courts, government agencies, expert witnesses, corporations, vendors and other law firms) to gather information or coordinate activities as needed in support of trials and arbitrations; draft and analyze legal documents as requested by attorneys; conduct legal research under attorney supervision.

Position Requirements: Must have at least 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, experience with all stages of litigation, including intake, discovery, and trial, experience with Section 337 investigations conducted by the U.S. International Trade Commission a plus, experience coordinating trial/arbitration logistics, including negotiating for work space, setting-up remote office space, and coordinating with vendors, experience developing and maintaining processes to collect, store, and maintain paper and electronic case files, experience with court and administrative agency filings, including electronic or e-filings, familiarity with USITC Electronic Document Information System preferred, experience using e-discovery databases, experience using litigation support software for managing files and transcripts, proficiency with cite-checking and Bluebook rules, available for overtime and travel as needed, Bachelor's degree, Paralegal certificate preferred.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
