Job Description*:

- 6+ years Hands-on expertise in building and managing data pipelines on the AWS platform as a ETL developer.

- Must have experience in developing Python scripts to ingest data from S3, write complex data transformation queries.

- Must have prior work experience in Data Warehousing projects.

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows using ETL Tools

- Optimize ETL processes for performance, scalability, and reliability.

- Ensure data is accurately extracted from source systems, transformed according to business rules, and loaded into target systems (data warehouses, data lakes, etc.).

- Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, business stakeholders, and other developers to understand data requirements.

- Document ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows for maintainability and knowledge sharing.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in data engineering.

- Airflow (since ETL orchestration touches the portal data)

- AI/ML familiarity (the portal's AI agent framework is growing)

- MicroStrategy connectivity understanding

- Git branching strategy (feature dev uat prd promotion model)

Mandatory Skills:

- Python

- AWS Redshift

- AWS services — S3, Secrets Manager familiarity

- Airflow

- GitLab
