If you live in Hurst, Euless, Bedford, or North Richland Hills, DFW Pet Sitting Services has clients near you and needs a sitter who lives close. We've been in business since 2003. About 200 sitters, 8,000 client families, all W-2 employees, and every one of them working within a few miles of home.

What you'd do

Visit dogs and cats in the client's home for 25 minutes at a time. Feed, refresh water, scoop the litter or take the dog out, give meds if needed, walk when it's on the plan, and spend the rest of the visit with the animals. This is pet sitting and dog walking together, not a walking-only route. Most of the homes in this area are houses with yards.

New households get an in-person meeting before you commit, and you're paid for it.

If you can't make a visit, we find the backup. You keep the client.

There's always someone at the office to call. You are never on your own with a surprise.

Availability

Mornings, middays, and evenings, though not all three every day. The work comes in waves because clients travel on their own schedules. Midday is our shortest window and the one clients value most, since they want one consistent person at the same time every workday.

Pay

$12.50 per 25-minute visit, which is $25 an hour of visit time. That's the floor for one or two pets within 5 miles. Most households have more pets than that, so a typical visit runs $12.50 to about $16, and medication, extra miles, holidays, and same-day requests are added on top. Taxes withheld, W-2 at year end, and we pay for the background check.
