Why This Role

KSP Studio is looking for a Senior Job Captain who takes pride in getting the details right. This is a hands-on leadership role — you'll drive projects from design through construction, keep consultants and teams aligned, and make sure every set of drawings reflects the design intent with precision.

What You'll Own

Lead the preparation, coordination, and production of construction documents

Partner with project managers, architects, and consultants to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with project goals

Review and coordinate consultant drawings — structural, MEP, civil, and more — for consistency

Provide technical guidance and quality control across project teams

Conduct building code research under PM/PA direction and ensure adherence to all applicable codes and regulations

Lead the permitting process across multiple city jurisdictions

What You Bring

5+ years of architectural experience, including 3+ years as a Job Captain or Senior Job Captain

Required proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD; experience with other design tools is a plus

Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction methods

Sharp organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Proven ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines with limited supervision

Bachelor's degree in architecture or related field

Experience with commercial, institutional, or mixed-use projects preferred; architectural licensure (or progress toward it) is a plus
