Gilbane is seeking an Accounting Manager.

The Accounting Manager leads financial administration and management for a business by communicating profitability and potential risks, assisting the controller for month-end close, and managing Work in Process (WIP) while overseeing a portfolio of multiple +$500M projects.

This role will sit primarily in the office (Columbus or Cleveland), but travel to the project job sites meeting with the project teams and subcontractors.As a Top-10 ENR Contractor, Gilbane is a family-owned business with 45 offices that has been shaping communities since 1870.

Plan for and support development of individual skills and abilities.QualificationsEXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field8-10 years of experienceOr equivalent combination of education and experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIESStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and WordAbility to learn construction management and payment management softwareSalary to be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience of the applicant, as well as the internal equity and alignment with the team.For Ohio this ranges from $110,000-$151,250 plus benefits and retirement program.Gilbane offers an excellent total compensation package which includes competitive health and welfare benefits and a generous profit-sharing/401k plan.
