Performance Food Group is hiring experienced Shuttle Drivers to move double trailers between company yards and partner locations. In this full-time, overnight role, you will safely operate CDL-A equipment with doubles, hook and unhook sets, complete pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure accurate trailer placement to support warehouse and delivery operations. Drivers follow all DOT and company safety standards, use ELDs and logs, communicate closely with dispatch, and assist with basic freight or trailer checks as needed. Responsibilities
Operate CDL-A shuttle trucks moving double trailers between PFG yards and customer or partner locations
Hook, unhook, and secure double trailer sets safely and efficiently
Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues
Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and company safety and hours-of-service regulations
Use ELDs and required logs to accurately record hours and equipment movements
Communicate with dispatch and yard personnel to coordinate trailer moves and schedules
Ensure accurate trailer placement and documentation to support warehouse and delivery operations
Maintain a clean, professional vehicle and represent PFG with excellent customer service
Assist with basic freight checks or trailer condition checks as needed
Participate in safety meetings, trainings, and continuous improvement initiatives
