Position Summary

Charmet Tile is seeking a versatile and dependable Handyman / General Trades Technician to support a wide variety of residential and commercial projects. This role will perform tile-related work, punch-list completion, repairs, maintenance tasks, small remodeling projects, customer service work, warranty service, material handling, and general construction support.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly skilled in multiple trades, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently or alongside installation crews.

This position offers flexible compensation options, including hourly pay, project-based pay, piecework compensation, performance incentives, and bonus opportunities depending on assignment type and experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Support

• General repairs

• Drywall patching and repair

• Paint touch-up

• Minor plumbing

• Minor electrical

• Vanity installation

• Customer punch-list completion

• Warranty repairs

• Service calls

• Customer issue resolution

• Minor corrections after project completion

Safety & Quality

• Follow company safety procedures

• Maintain clean work areas

• Perform quality checks

• Represent Charmet professionally

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years construction, handyman, remodeling, or maintenance experience

• Valid California Driver's License

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to lift 75 lbs

• Strong customer service skills

• Ability to work independently
