Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adults and children
Provide anesthesia care during neurosurgical and spinal procedures
Perform spinal and local infiltration anesthesia
Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout surgeries
Collaborate with anesthesiologists and surgical teams in a hospital setting
Maintain continuous patient monitoring pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
Document all anesthesia records accurately using Epic EMR
Ensure compliance with hospital safety protocols and policies
Respond to emergencies including airway management and intubation as needed
Support approximately 50 surgical cases daily across multiple operating rooms What You Need
Required:
Active CRNA license
BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
Ability to work scheduled shifts within a hospital-based environment
Experience with general anesthesia, neurosurgery, spinal anesthesia
Preferred:
Prior experience in trauma centers
Neonatal or pediatric anesthesia experience About the Assignment
This role is based at a leading facility in Jackson, Michigan, within a Level II Trauma Center. Candidates will support a multidisciplinary team through scheduled anesthesia procedures. The facility handles about 50 surgical cases daily, ensuring a dynamic and engaging work environment. There is no on-call duty required, with shifts structured for optimal work-life balance.
