Manufacturing Associate

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for an Onsite position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in New Albany, OH. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves performing moderately-complex to complex manufacturing processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The position operates on a rotating 12-hour shift and focuses on the inspection and packaging of product-filled vials. The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to follow procedures, and work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

Routinely perform moderately-complex to complex processes according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)

Perform inspection and packaging of product-filled vials per procedures and batch records

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment

Set up and operate manufacturing equipment

Use human machine interfaces (HMIs) to identify alarms and correct line stoppages

Assist in other manufacturing operations and internal support such as stocking items and material movement

Recognize, report, and make necessary adjustments for equipment malfunctions

Understand, follow, and document batch records for the inspection and packaging process

Reconcile components and products, and calculate product exposure to room temperature

Use computer systems to support training, communication, and electronic batch record documentation

Train new team members on routine tasks

Requirements:

High school/GED and 1 year of work or military experience OR an Associate degree

Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)

Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)

Understanding of measurements, calculations, and the metric system

Basic computer knowledge

Filling and finishing manufacturing experience, preferably vial inspection

Desired skills:

Strong teamwork skills

Pay range: up to $23.55 per hour
