Brookhaven Care Center LLC is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping team member to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and restrooms according to facility standards

Perform routine dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and surface disinfection throughout the facility

Change and replace bed linens and assist with laundry duties as needed

Dispose of waste and manage trash removal in compliance with health and safety regulations

Restock housekeeping supplies and report low inventory to supervisors

Follow infection control protocols and proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department promptly

Requirements:

Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting

Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and infection control procedures

Ability to operate housekeeping equipment such as vacuums, mops, and floor buffers

Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe environment

Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Compassionate and respectful demeanor when interacting with residents and staff
