About the role

Sloopy's Diner on Ohio State's campus is hiring Team Members for all positions — front counter, grill, prep, and dish. You'll work alongside a crew that moves fast, keeps standards high, and takes care of a campus full of students, staff, and visitors every day.

Pay

$17.00/hr starting — no experience necessary, we train

$18.00/hr with minimal restaurant experience

Up to $20.00/hr with proven experience

What you'll do

Greet guests, take orders, and handle transactions accurately

Cook, assemble, and plate menu items to spec

Prep ingredients and stock stations before and during service

Keep work areas, equipment, and dining space clean and sanitary

Follow all food safety and handling standards

Pitch in wherever the shift needs you

What we're looking for

Reliable, on time, and ready to work

Comfortable in a fast-paced environment

Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Willing to learn every station

Prior restaurant, kitchen, or customer service experience is a plus — not required
