Job Description
Fast-expanding builder is looking to add working project managers/site supers to our in-house frame-to-finish crew. We specialize in the restoration and renovation of antique barns and homes, but our portfolio includes more conventional high-end renovations, additions and custom new homes. We place a high priority on an enjoyable and satisfying work environment and are looking for like-minded individuals. This is a blended bags-on/bags-off position.
The ideal candidate has:
- 8 years + professional experience
- Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills
- Broad skillset and comfort through all phases of construction
- Ability to communicate with and oversee subcontractors in the field
- Experience reading plans, doing take-offs and ordering materials
- Ability to work both individually and with a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation
- Hand tools and battery tool kit, larger equipment provided
- Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office programs
- Experience with timberframing and/or old buildings a plus
- Experience with high-performance and green building principles and methods a plus
