Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime and keep operations running safely and efficiently.
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician
4+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills with experience in pumps, conveyors, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, chain drives, and belt/pulley systems
Ability to read mechanical prints, schematics, and understand basic tolerances, alignment, squareness, and parallelism
Experience with welding, fabrication, machining, rigging, and general mechanical repairs
Basic electrical troubleshooting experience preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work with contractors, service technicians, and internal teams
Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues involving production equipment, conveyors, pumps, pneumatic/hydraulic systems, and drive systems
Perform preventive maintenance and repair equipment components including belts, chains, sprockets, sheaves, and pulleys
Identify and repair air, water, glue, oil, and steam leaks
Fabricate and repair damaged components using welding, machining, fastening, and other methods
Assist with equipment installations, rigging, roll changes, and facility projects
Perform basic electrical troubleshooting and accurately document maintenance activities
Follow all safety procedures while maintaining a clean work area and supporting the maintenance team with additional projects and repairs
3rd shift: 10:00PM - 6:00AM Monday through Friday, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $35.00 - $45.00 hourly, based on experience
