Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (CFY welcome) to join our growing speech-language pathology team at Dragonfly Kids Therapy. As a Dragonfly speech therapist, you will provide speech and language services to students across various grade levels within a school setting. Dragonfly Kids Therapy is a small, therapist-owned company that provides comprehensive, consistent support to our therapists, as well as access to high-quality resources, therapy materials, and CEU opportunities. Our company is passionate about improving students' speech and language skills through evidence-based, multi-sensory methods and works collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to improve literacy outcomes.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students’ communication strengths and challenges using evidence-based techniques

Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans that align with each student’s needs and educational goals

Deliver engaging therapy sessions utilizing a variety of techniques

Collaborate with teachers, special educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs across various settings

Monitor student progress regularly, adjusting therapy approaches to ensure consistent improvement and achievement of objectives and goals

Participate in SST and IEP meetings to coordinate care for students with speech and language impairments

Qualifications

Valid Ohio state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist; CFY candidates are encouraged to apply

Master's degree in speech-language pathology (or equivalent)

ASHA membership (if Clinical Fellowship is already completed)
