Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Night Shift, Full-Time (36 hours/week)

Department: Med/Surg 2, Innovations Unit (8th Floor)

Location: Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center What We're Looking For:

Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred.

If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.

Experience:

One year of RN experience, required.

One year relevant experience, preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required. What You'll Do:

Provide high quality, evidence based care to a diverse med surg patient population, including wound care, IV therapy, medication administration, g tube management, and support for stable tracheostomies

Collaborate with fellow nurses, leaders, and interdisciplinary partners to ensure safe, coordinated, and patient centered care throughout each shift

Participate in testing and evaluating new technologies, workflows, and quality initiatives, offering meaningful feedback that helps refine and advance organizational practices

Contribute to a positive, team focused environment by supporting peers, promoting consistent practice, and engaging in continuous learning

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold regulatory and organizational standards while actively engaging in innovation and process improvement efforts
