Position: Industrial Mechanic (Millwright)
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Shift work
Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Summary: The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing industrial machinery and mechanical equipment. The successful candidate must follow workplace safety and lockout/tagout procedures and be comfortable working 40 hours per week on a shift schedule. This is a permanent, full-time position with a health care plan.
Main Duties
Install, align, relocate, and dismantle industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
Read and work from technical drawings, blueprints, layout plans, and manufacturer specifications
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery
Identify and replace faulty, defective, or worn components
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot:
Hydraulic systems
Pneumatic systems
Power transmission systems
Mechanical systems
Programmable control systems
Operate hoists, cranes, jacks, and other lifting equipment to position machinery
Adjust, repair, and replace defective machinery parts
Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
Perform preventive maintenance, including: Cleaning, Lubrication, Inspections, Adjustments
Updating maintenance records
Follow all workplace safety procedures and lockout/tagout (LOTO) requirements
Comply with applicable maintenance standards and safety regulations
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 5 years of related industrial maintenance experience
Experience as an Industrial Mechanic, Millwright, Maintenance Millwright, or in a similar role
