Job Title: Respite Provider

Location: Hobart, WI

We are seeking a compassionate and attentive Respite Provider to work with a young boy in the Hobart, WI area. The ideal candidate will be patient, proactive, and committed to helping the child thrive through consistent routines and gentle guidance.

Wage:

• $14.13/hourly

Schedule:

· To be discussed and determined between provider and managing party (parents). Approximation as follows (20hrs. per month):

· Occasional weekdays afternoons after 3:30pm

· Occasional weekends

Tasks:

· Respite care is to be conducted in child’s home -or out in the community. Community outings are encouraged.

· Assist with transportation from school back home or out to community activities.

· Work on safety skills and transitions in home and out in the community.

· Assist with organizational skills and check in on schoolwork.

· Build on social and communication skills

· Hang out and have fun! This kiddo enjoys taking care of his kitties, going to the mall to browse, getting a bite to eat, riding around on his electric bike, and so much more..

Requirements:

· Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Must pass a caregiver/criminal background check

· Authorization to work in the U.S.

· Preference to those with previous experience working with individuals with support needs.

· Comfortable with pets in home.
