CT Technologist / Diagnostic Imaging

A community-based healthcare organization in Southeastern Montana, near Garryowen, is seeking a CT Technologist to join its diagnostic imaging team. Both full-time and PRN opportunities are available.

This opportunity is geared toward a Radiologic Technologist with CT experience who is interested in working across diagnostic imaging while continuing to expand their skills. Experience in MRI or Mammography is also valued, and the organization offers the opportunity to cross-train into additional imaging modalities.

Responsibilities

The CT Technologist will:

Perform CT and diagnostic radiographic procedures to support the diagnosis of illness and injury.

Produce high-quality diagnostic images while following established imaging and safety protocols.

Prepare, position, and assist patients throughout imaging procedures.

Provide safe and compassionate care to patients across the lifespan, including pediatric and geriatric populations.

Work under the direction of the Imaging Director and in collaboration with radiologists and other members of the clinical team.

Maintain an organized, safe, and clean imaging environment.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nursing staff, and other departments.

Maintain patient confidentiality and follow infection-control and safety standards.

Participate in department quality and performance-improvement initiatives.

Maintain required professional credentials and continuing education.

Cross-train into additional imaging modalities based on department needs and experience.

Schedule

Full-time

On-call participation required

Flexibility to work overtime as needed

Specific shift and call schedules will be discussed during the interview process

Minimum Qualifications

Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.

Current ARRT certification.

Current applicable/willing to obtain Montana state imaging license.

Ability to maintain required ARRT continuing education.

Strong patient care and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively within a collaborative imaging department.

Preferred Qualifications

CT experience strongly preferred.

MRI and/or Mammography experience is a plus.

Experience working across multiple imaging modalities is beneficial.

Candidates with a strong general radiography background may also be considered, particularly those interested in expanding their skills through cross-training.

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience
