Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week assignment requiring ARRT R.T.(R) certification and vascular surgery scrub case experience.

Details

Position within a Radiology department supporting Interventional Radiology and select Operating Room areas

Serves adolescent and adult patients

40 hours per week, 4x10 hour shifts

Shift start times of 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM depending on call rotation

Flexible availability required for holidays

Call required 7 PM-7 AM, one weekday shift per week and one weekend shift per month

Uses EPIC for charting

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, or registry eligible with certification obtained before start date

ARRT R.T.(R) certification required

ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) certification required within 18 months of start, strongly preferred at time of hire

Current BLS certification required

Active license required if applicable

Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty being applied for

Body, Neuro, and Vascular Surgery experience required

Previous scrub case experience required

Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred

Associate's degree preferred

Additional Information

Produce high quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards

Demonstrate competence across a variety of imaging equipment and technology

Practice safety guidelines for patients, staff, and self

Foster teamwork through effective communication

Maintain flexibility to work across various locations, shift times, and shift lengths

Respond to on-call pager as needed, including days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
