General Surgery Opening in MississippiLocated in Cleveland, MississippiAbout the PositionAn established hospital-employed surgical team is seeking a General Surgeon to join a collaborative group with strong mentorship and a steady case mix.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced surgeons and new graduates looking to develop their skills in a supportive environment.-Clinic hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM-Schedule includes 36 patient care hours and 4 administrative hours-Two full clinic days with designated clinic/surgery days-Call: 1:3 rotation with 5 days per month built into contract; additional call available for extra compensation-Patient volume: 20-25 per day once ramped-Join 2 General Surgeons (1 full-time, 1 part-time, plus weekend coverage support)-Bread and butter general surgery procedures-Scopes required-No robotics-All procedures performed at one hospital-No trauma coverage required-Hospitalist team handles admissions-Team offers over 70 years of combined experience and strong mentorshipQualifications-BE/BC in General Surgery-Eligible for Mississippi medical license and DEACompensation and Benefits-Base salary starting at $450K (DOE) plus wRVU production incentives-$50K sign-on bonus-$15K relocation assistance-$5K annual CME allowance-25+ days PTO-Student loan repayment assistance-Full health benefits package-401(k) retirement plan-Malpractice insurance with tail coverage-Residency stipend available-Hunting and fishing license includedAbout the CommunityCleveland offers a unique blend of small-town charm and cultural vibrancy in the Mississippi Delta.
