Summer 2027 marks the launch of the hospital's inaugural Emergency Medicine Residency Program, offering the facility medical director a unique opportunity to help shape the future of emergency medicine education while leading a high-performing clinical team.
St. David's Medical Center also expanded its emergency care footprint with the opening of an affiliated ED in Manor, Texas, creating additional opportunities for collaboration and system growth.

Leadership Opportunity
Provide overall strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for the ED
Partner with hospital administration and TeamHealth leadership to drive quality, patient experience, physician engagement, and departmental performance
Mentor and develop physicians, APCs, and future EM residents
Champion clinical excellence, operational efficiency, and evidence-based best practices

Position Details
W2 employed position
Base rate + RVU compensation model
Additional monthly administrative stipend + quarterly incentives

Candidate Requirements
ABEM board certified
Previous physician leadership experience preferred
Eligible for Texas medical licensure
Active clinical practice within the last 12 months
ACLS, PALS, and ATLS (expired ATLS accepted)
