Job Description
A respected healthcare organization in Northeast Indiana is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OTR) to join its rehabilitation team in a direct-hire, permanent placement opportunity. This Monday–Friday daytime position. You'll work alongside PTs, SLPs, physicians, nursing staff, and COTAs to help patients regain independence and improve function through individualized therapy programs.

Job Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Implement evidence-based interventions focused on improving functional independence and quality of life
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, and ongoing care needs
Collaborate with physical therapists, speech therapists, physicians, nursing staff, and COTAs to coordinate patient care
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
Complete timely documentation, progress notes, and billing requirements
Participate in patient discharge planning and transition-of-care recommendations
Support a patient-centered rehabilitation environment focused on functional outcomes
Minimum Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Bachelor's degree required if graduated prior to January 1, 2002
Master's degree required if graduated after January 1, 2002
Eligible for Indiana Occupational Therapy licensure
CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
Clinical experience through an accredited OT program required
Strong patient education and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
Comfortable working within a community hospital setting
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and 100 pounds with assistance
Flexibility to support other regional therapy locations as needed
Schedule:
Monday–Friday daytime schedule
Direct-Hire 40 hours a week/ Permanent Placement
