Production Associate - Contract to Hire

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Production Associate for a position with a Pharmaceutical Company located in Columbus, OH. This is a 2nd shift role (3:00pm - 11:30pm). This is a 3-month contract-to-hire position.

Under the direct supervision of the shift Operations Manager, this role is responsible for all packaging activities in a manufacturing environment. This includes equipment sanitation, preparation of packaging and product materials, and packing out finished product for shipment while adhering to all safety and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities:

Stage preapproved repackaging material and equipment for production runs

Assist in operating packaging equipment including minor troubleshooting

Repackage raw materials into finished products that meet all quality standards and specifications

Assist in production room and equipment cleaning/sanitation

Adhere to all cGMPs, safety regulations, and Standard Operating Procedures

Maintain good housekeeping throughout the shift in the work areas

Work as a team member to meet and/or exceed quality and production goals

Partner with supporting areas, such as quality, to report production/quality issues

Requirements:

Ability to read, write, and understand the English language for reading documents, product labels, and instructions

Ability to stand for a minimum of 8-12 hours

Manual dexterity with hands

Ability to work in a team environment

Ability to lift, handle, or push items that weigh on average 25lbs, and up to 35lbs

Previous experience as an assembler or on a production line is preferred

Must be a team player and demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills

Must possess basic mathematical skills and be detail-oriented

Ability to use good judgment to carry out detailed instructions

Pay range: $20.00 per hour
