We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our growing kitchen team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards in food preparation and presentation while supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the kitchen.

This full-time role is based in Harris Park, NSW 2150, with a salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation.

Applicants must hold a Diploma in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, Commercial Cookery, or a related culinary qualification (or higher) and have at least one year of full-time relevant industry experience as a Chef.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook all menu items to a consistently high standard.

• Assist in developing and updating menus to ensure variety, quality, and cost-effectiveness.

• Supervise and coordinate junior kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and plating.

• Manage inventory, place orders, and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure the availability of fresh, high-quality ingredients.

• Assist with recruiting, training, and supervising kitchen staff while maintaining high standards of performance and discipline.

• Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, workplace health and safety, and kitchen security regulations.

• Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance food quality and kitchen operations.

• Identify opportunities to improve kitchen efficiency, menu offerings, and overall restaurant services.

Salary

Successful candidates will receive an annual salary of $80,000 to $90,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Commercial Cookery, Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Minimum one year of full-time experience as a Chef
